strings of hope

This quilt was made with the help of a few of my friends.
We started it a few months ago and I finished it up last week.
It will soon be headed to Margaret's Hope Chest.
I hope & pray that it brings someone comfort and HOPE!

It was made from strings from my bottomless scrap basket. :)
It measures 48" x 60".
I've decided that I've never met a scrap quilt I didn't like.
Shocking, isn't it?

Happy Monday to you!

Hello, inspiration! My string bin is jammed full but I just can't bring myself to start another string quilt or spiderweb type project. This seems way less stressful -- and just as beautiful :)

I love this quilt and how you used your strings. Did you sew them onto paper? Beryl

I agree, can't say I've ever seen an "ugly" scrap quilt either.

I love these kind of blocks too.

I love the string/scrap quilt. Do you have a tutorial on that one? It doesn't look hard but if anyone could mess it up it would be me. I just might have to have a go at it. Yours is beautiful.
